I'm having a hard time finding much on the rapper Kwest is battling in this session A.L. Skillz. He made appearances on the Eddie Ill and D.L. tapes as well as guested on several tracks in the heyday of indie hip hop of the late 90's. I have a ridiculous session with A.L. that I'm trying to find for later on but for now peep this one. Hey man I used to trade tapes with you back in the day around 98 or 99. This is an excellent idea and I'm feeling it already. AL Skillz was a cat that down with the whole NY underground scene in those days. He was really into the Lyricist Lounge scene. He was on volume 1 of the LL Comp and he was featured on the wack show MTV had for a minute too.
